WXIA 11 Alive - Park spokeswoman Maureen Oltrogge says 56-year-old April Goode, 56 of Salem, Oregon, was one of six people who set out May 13 for a five-day trip through remote parts of the canyon. She died two days later about 40 miles from the South Rim.
